Patrycja Krzeszowska-Kubit - soprano
A graduate from Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Music Academy in Łódź, in the class of prof. Grażyna Krajewska-Ambroziak. Having graduated with honours, as one of the best students, she was invited to participate in the Concert of Graduates in Łódź Philharmonic Hall. Soon after graduation she was employed in her alma mater where she works until now as a lecturer. She was awarded the Degree of Doctor of Arts in 2011.
In April 2006 she made her debut performing Romilda in an opera by G.F. Handel Xerxes; a student performance in Łódź Grand Theatre. Upon that, the same year, she was invited to cooperate with the Grand Theatre in a vaudeville Krakowiacy i górale by J. Stefani. Her performance of the role of Basia met with overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics.
Since September 2007 she has been a soloist at The Grand Theatre in Łódź where she performs the roles of Hanna in The Haunted Manor by St. Moniuszko, Zerlina in the opera Don Giovanni by W.A. Mozart, First Lady in the opera Zauberflote by W.A. Mozart, Musetta in La Boheme by G. Puccini, Frasquita in the opera Carmen by G. Bizet, Arsena in the opera Der Zigeunerbaron by J. Strauss, Annina in the operetta Eine Nacht in Venedig by J. Strauss or Eliza in the musical My fair lady by F. Loewe.
Patrycja has sung as a guest in various theatres; she created Eliza in the musical My fair lady by F. Loewe in the Musical Theatre in Gdynia, and Pamina in the opera Zauberflote by W.A. Mozart in the Opera NOVA in Bydgoszcz as well as in the Opera House in Wrocław.
For her exemplary fulfilment of the duties and most importantly her great involvement in preparation of the spectacles My fair lady and The Queen of spades Patrycja received The Managing Director Award for the season 2009/2010.
22 May 2015 she made her debut on the stage of the Polish National Opera in the Teatr Wielki in Warsaw in the third edition of the Project P. creating Jackie Kennedy in the opera Requiem dla Ikony by K. Głowicka.
Throughout her career she made recording for various stations such as Radio Rzeszów, Radio Łódź or Television Lviv. She has been mastering her skills taking part in numerous vocal interpretation courses under the guidance of such fantastic teachers and artists as prof. J. Artysz, prof. R. Karczykowski, prof. I. Kuszpler, prof. I. Kremling, prof. Ch. Elssner and T. Berganza.
Her successes include Special Prize at the XXXVIII Kurpiński National Polish Competition for Young Musicians in 2005. The same year she became a finalist of the VII Edmund Kossowski Polish National Competition of Art Song in Warsaw. Furthermore, she gained a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland
Not only does her repertoire include innumerable opera and operetta arias but also oratorio cantata works and vocal lyrics.
Over the years she collaborated with such conductors as T. Wojciechowski, T. Kozłowski, A. Straszyński, J. Pawełczak, A. Wicherek, Ł. Borowicz, K. Kord, W. Michniewski, T. Figas, B. Akiki, P. Wajrak, W. Rodek and directors: L. Adamik, A. Żarnecki, M. Znaniecki, D. Kustosik, W. Zawodziński, M. Korwin, T. Konina, M. Treliński, K. Janda.
